THETA HEALING VENUES

Theta Healing courses and events for the first half of 2011 focus on the London area. We hope that you may be able to join us at one of our training courses or workshops.

 

LONDON - central

tHE COLUMBIA HOTEL, 95/99 LANCASTER gATE, BAYSWATER, LONDON

This hotel has been used for spiritual courses for, as we understand, for more than 50 years. When at this hotel we use the Lancaster suite. This gives us a peaceful space at the back of the hotel. The room is split in to two areas, one for teaching and the other for breaks and relaxation. We find that it is a super room to be in for transformation to occur. See more details for Columbia Hotel The hotel is on Bayswater Road which runs alongside Hyde Park. It is wonderful to have a stroll or take lunch in the park during the course. There are many restaurants and takeaways nearby for you to purchase lunch or you may bring your lunch in to the venue. If you are staying in London you may decide to stay at the hotel. The hotel do not have any special rates for you, although, there is a special rate for last minute bookings. Students who stay at the hotel are generally happy with their stay. There are many other hotels close by at varying prices, depending on your budget. Many students combine their course with a stay in London taking in whatever, of the many, attractions that appeal to them.

 

LONDON - NORTH WEST

The Buntie Wills Foundation is a small registered charity in The Avenue, just north of Queen’s Park, and it exists to serve the psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the community. This centre, formed in 1987, was inspired by the work and teaching of Buntie Wills, a well known Jungian psychotherapist in North London, whose work spanned over 40 years. Buntie believed life should be lived with both passion and compassion and should aim at wholeness for the psyche. The spirit of her work continues to underpin the ethos of the Foundation. This venue is a relaxing space with the use of the kitchen and garden area during lunchtimes and breaks.

 

lONDON - SOUTH WEST

hampton, middx

We are using a very light and airy hall just a couple of minutes walk from Hampton Station. There is a spacious relaxation area with comfy armchairs for breaks. This hall is used for community events and is a great space for Theta Healing. For lunch you can bring in your own or their are local shops where you can purchase takeaways or eat out.

The venue is on a direct line from London Waterloo/Clapham Junction with trains every 30 minutes. By car it is just 3 miles from junction 1 on the M3 and there is free onsite parking.

There are many hotels within easy reach if you wish to stay overnight.

BERKSHIRE

CROWTHORNE

Crowthorne, Berkshire is 40 miles west of London and 11 miles east of Reading.

By train It is a 5 minutes walk to the venue from Crowthorne train station which is on the Reading/Gatwick Airport line.  It takes just one hour to reach from London Paddington station.

By Air  Crowthorne is just 27 miles from London Heathrow airport and 50 miles from London Gatwick airport. Trains are direct from Gatwick airport to Crowthorne.

By Car  Crowthorne is less than 15 minutes drive from Motorways M3 and M4.

OTHER VENUES

Glastonbury - There are some courses planned for the very beautiful venue of Chalice Well. Dates are to be confirmed.

Glasgow,City Centre, Scotland - Theta Healing Basic Course and Advanced Courses are held in Glasgow City Centre. This is right next to Queen Street Station and so is easy to get to from Edinburgh and the north.
